​Karate In Olympics

The IOC ( International Olympic Committee ) has approved Karate to be in the Olympic Games, beginning with the 2020 Games in Tokyo, Japan.

Class Schedule

The Chilliwack Karate Club is part of the Gima-ha Shotokan-ryu Association. Chief Instructor for Chilliwack is Troy Metzer, a 5th degree black belt (Go Dan).

The Shobukai Dojo in Chilliwack offers training in karate and kobudo (traditional Japanese weaponry) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30pm — 8:30pm at the Victory Church in Chilliwack.

Juniors & Adults Tuesday & Thursday 6:30PM – 8:30PM
